Cae Groes

Cae Groes, in the Conwy Valley, is an excellent base for all outdoor activities in North Wales. It is in a superb location, less than a mile from the centre of Llanrwst, with access to all parts of the Snowdonia National Park. Next door to Cae Groes is a leisure centre with a climbing wall and the town of Llanrwst has an indoor swimming pool and a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Cae Groes is a converted 19th century farmhouse with a range of other buildings:
– The main farmhouse has ground floor dining room/kitchen, a lounge with wood-burnng stove and 34 beds in five rooms, three of which contain bunk beds and two providing alpine style shelves. There are two uni-sex showers, toilets and wash facilities on the first floor
– In an adjacent building there are four self-contained mini-apartments suitable for family accommodation. Each have their own lounge, kitchen/diner and toilet and can each sleep five people
– The shower block has separate mens/womens showers, toilets and a large heated drying room
– There is also a locked ‘Barn’ with a table tennis table and ample storage for bikes.

The house, apartments and shower block are centrally heated. There is ample private car parking and a large grassed garden.
